Maxis’s latest update to its Home Solar offering is nothing technical and more like a strategy turnaround, as they now allow you to have your own home solar system, switching from subscribing to getting full ownership.
Positioning it as a long-term value play, they are also easing users who are willing to get into this program with 0% nterest installment plans for up to 36 months through selected partner banks, and it may help you save on power bills as much as 80%.
They’re also adding a limited-time incentive here – if you sign up by 31 May 2026, you’ll get up to 5 years of complimentary maintenance, insurance, and performance monitoring. That includes coverage for accidental damage to key components like panels and inverters, which is actually a big deal since those repairs can get expensive.
Overall, with both subscription and outright purchase now on the table, Maxis is giving homeowners more flexibility in how they adopt solar, while leaning heavily into the idea of energy independence and predictable long-term savings.
