Acer introduced the Swift Spin 14 AI convertible laptop alongside the entry-level Aspire Go 15 to expand its mobile portfolio with computing platforms powered by Snapdragon processors.
The Swift Spin 14 AI runs either the Snapdragon X2 Elite or the X2 Plus, and comes with 80 TOPS of AI performance that goes with up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB SSD.
Designed with a 360-degree hinge, the 1.34 kg ultraportable transforms into multiple deployment orientations to support its 14-inch touch-enabled WUXGA IPS glass display. The panel works with an included Acer Active Stylus 420 utilizing Wacom AES 2.0 technology with 4,096 pressure levels, which recharges inside an internal chassis garage to provide 100 minutes of use from a 30-second charge.
With I/O including dual USB Type-C, dual USB Type-A, HDMI 2.1, and a 100-watt fast-charging DC-in port. For remote communication, the system mounts a 5 MP infrared camera with Windows Hello facial recognition, automated safety locking, and AI-assisted PurifiedView framing. This works alongside three physical microphones running PurifiedVoice noise cancellation, DTS:X Ultra audio speakers, and Snapdragon Sound wireless streaming over Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 networks.
Battery-wise, it is said to be able to reach 23 hours for video playback or 16.5 hours for web browsing.
Meanwhile, the Aspire Go 15 debuts as the first laptop built on the Snapdragon C chip, targeting everyday tasks with a fanless, quiet design packed in 100-percent recyclable materials with post-consumer recycled plastic components.
The system carries up to 8 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD, a 15.6-inch narrow-bezel display, an extended single-charge battery lifespan, driving a 15.6-inch narrow-bezel display, and a series of I/O, including dual full-function USB Type-C ports, a standard HDMI port, and wireless Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.
