Held under the theme “AI Together,” this year’s event placed significant emphasis on AI computing, robotics, intelligent mobility, and next-generation technologies, bringing together global technology companies, startups, investors, and industry leaders to showcase the latest developments shaping the future of the sector.

A major trend emerging from the exhibition was the growing focus on physical AI, as artificial intelligence increasingly moves beyond digital applications and into real-world environments. With industries such as manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and aerospace accelerating investments in automation and intelligent systems, organizers introduced the inaugural AI Robotics Zone at TWTC Hall 1 to highlight robotics platforms, embodied AI technologies, and deployment-ready solutions. The addition reflects a broader industry push to transform AI from a software-driven capability into technologies capable of interacting directly with physical environments.

COMPUTEX also expanded its exhibition footprint through the introduction of the E-paper Pavilion and TechXperience showcase. Together, the new areas featured more than 180 exhibitors, broadening the event’s technology coverage beyond traditional computing and semiconductor products.

Industry leaders used the exhibition’s keynote stage to outline their vision for the next phase of AI development. Speakers included Qualcomm President and CEO Cristiano R. Amon, Marvell Chairman and CEO Matt Murphy, Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, and NXP President and CEO Rafael Sotomayor, with discussions centered on AI computing infrastructure, edge intelligence, next-generation platforms, and intelligent mobility. The keynote series attracted approximately 6,000 attendees, highlighting continued industry interest in understanding how AI technologies will evolve over the coming years.

Meanwhile, the COMPUTEX Forum further explored those themes through discussions involving 28 technology executives and industry experts. Covering topics such as AI computing, robotics, enterprise adoption, and data governance, the forum recorded more than 13,200 visits as organizations sought insight into scaling AI deployments and accelerating commercialization efforts.

Startup exhibition InnoVEX also recorded a milestone year, featuring more than 500 startups, representing a growth of over 11% compared to 2025. Participants from 23 countries joined the event, with Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea emerging as the largest contributors. Organizers further expanded the platform’s international reach through new collaborations with Plug and Play Taiwan and Japanese startup exhibition organizer Everidge, strengthening opportunities for cross-border innovation and market expansion.

International participation remained a key component of the startup showcase, with national pavilions from France, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Australia, Israel, Canada, Italy, and the Czech Republic presenting innovations spanning AI, robotics, and intelligent mobility. Meanwhile, the InnoVEX Forum’s “AI in Action” theme focused on practical deployment strategies, AI infrastructure roadmaps, open-source business models, and workflow transformation initiatives.

The InnoVEX Pitch Contest continued serving as a bridge between startups, investors, and industry partners, integrating access to capital, computing resources, and market validation. Startup RLWRLD emerged as the competition’s grand prize winner.

Beyond technology showcases, sustainability remained a priority throughout the exhibition. Organizers continued promoting lower-carbon exhibition practices through expanded adoption of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle principles, while the Sustainable Design Award introduced new categories aimed at encouraging broader participation. ASUS received recognition in the Flagship Scale category, while Transcend Information earned honors in the Rising Innovator category.

Blending technology with lifestyle and cultural experiences, a dedicated service lounge was added, developed in partnership with China Airlines and GQ, combining hospitality services with Taiwanese cultural elements, while interactive relaxation spaces from Red Bull and Sleepy Tofu offered visitors an alternative environment away from the exhibition floor.

Adding a creative element to the event, generative artist Aluan Wang collaborated with organizers on a large-scale interactive installation at the entrance of Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1. Visitors were invited to create personalized visual designs that were displayed on six-meter LED columns, demonstrating how AI and digital creativity can be integrated into public experiences.

The strong turnout and expanded focus areas suggest that the AI industry is entering a new phase of maturity. While foundational technologies such as AI computing and data infrastructure remain critical, growing attention is increasingly shifting toward deployment, automation, and physical-world applications. The prominence of robotics and embodied AI throughout this year’s exhibition indicates that future industry growth may be driven as much by real-world implementation as by advances in underlying models and computing platforms.

COMPUTEX is scheduled to return from June 1 to June 4, 2027, at Nangang Exhibition Center Halls 1 and 2 and TWTC Hall 1, where organizers expect AI to remain at the center of discussions surrounding technology and industrial transformation.
