Nothing has just introduced its latest Headphone (1) Pro, bringing a premium listening experience with studio-level features. Let’s take a quick look.
Designed for audio enthusiasts seeking a detailed and customizable listening experience, the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro combines everyday features such as Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with studio-grade tools for listening, producing and mixing.
It features a triple-driver architecture, with each driver handling a specific part of the frequency range. The bass dynamic driver delivers deeper and punchier low frequencies, while the precision dynamic driver adds texture to vocals and instruments. A new treble xMEMS driver also provides clearer, crisper highs.
Furthermore, the headphones were tuned in collaboration with internationally acclaimed Metropolis Studios, bringing professional audio expertise to the listening experience. A dedicated Flat EQ Switch provides a neutral sound profile for producers and creators, while the new Studio B Dynamic Spatial Audio mode recreates the acoustic character of a mixing room.
For noise cancellation, Headphone (1) Pro boasts Nothing’s most advanced real-time Adaptive ANC, using a 10-microphone system to better filter surrounding noise, including wind and traffic. Redesigned ear cushions with an 8 mm silicone baffle wall further improve the sound seal and noise isolation.
It also supports Hi-Res wireless playback and lossless, high-fidelity audio via USB-C at up to 24-bit/192 kHz, as well as five Dynamic Spatial Audio modes with head tracking for a more immersive listening experience. Advanced EQ allows users to fine-tune the Main and Precision drivers across the frequency range, while Simple EQ provides easier control over elements such as bass and vocals.
Design-wise, the headphones sport Nothing’s iconic transparent design language, with the triple-driver architecture visible through the scratch- and shatter-resistant 9H Panda glass on both ear cups.
Aluminum and titanium construction helps provide a premium yet lightweight build, while a wider, more heavily padded headband and softer ear cushions improve comfort. Weighing 327g and available in Black and White, the Headphone (1) Pro offers up to 68 hours of battery life with ANC turned off, along with fast charging and an IP52 rating.
