It is said that OnePlus – or rather Maxis, will send out their invites for the OnePlus 2 in a first-come-first-serve basis. Some said that it’s supposed to happen on 5th September 2015, but it didn’t seem to happen. Now, we’re awaiting 6th September 2015 – which is today – for Maxis to surprise us.
On another news, the price leaked! And it’s from Maxis themselves! Credits to pals over at Mdroid for this information!
Let’s talk about the most obvious detail in this image – the price tiself. It’s RM1,687. Weird number, I know, but given the current exchange rate, it’s not much different from the price that we all know – USD $389. However, RM1,687 is assuming that it’s the 64GB version with 4GB RAM.
Side note here – my summary of the OnePlus 2 launch was published before the currency became shitty, and it was RM1478.71 in direct conversion. Such sadness.
Another news is that OnePlus 2 is set to be officially launched by Maxis on 22nd September 2015. Guess we’ll have to wait till the time comes!
