At the next@acer October Livestream, Acer has announced that they expanding the “antigerm” portfolio by introducing a plethora of new offerings spanning across multiple categories of digital and non-digital goodies.
For modern and classy business laptops, the TravelMate Spin P4 is the latest offering that is part of the antimicrobial lineup. Offering superior performance thanks to the integration of up to 11th Gen Intel Core i7 vPro CPU and a maximum of 1TB NVMe storage means that business elites can store a large batch of files while having sufficient horsepower to help them power through the entire day partly due to the great power efficiency of the CPU, boasting up to 13.5 hours of battery life. I/O ports including multiple USB-C and Thunderbolt 4 surround the chassis while the Ethernet port, WiFi 6, and optional LTE handle the connectivity department.
Next up is the Enduro Urban N3 designed to accompany adventurers thanks to its MIL-STD 910H durability certification and IP53 resistance on top of Acer’s unique Aquafan system that can help the unit drain excess liquid after submersions. The antimicrobial aspects get amplified with not only the coating applied but also towards the screen with the Corning Gorilla Glass that keeps the screen clean and contamination level to a minimum. The entire machine can be fitted with up to 11th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU, NVIDIA GeForce MX330, and 32GB of DDR RAM to power through all sorts of moderate tasks.
From the same Enduro family, the Urban T3 is perfect for those who need to stay connected while heading outdoors as the durable 10-inch tablet is IP53 rated and capable of surviving drops of up to 122cm while staying relatively thin and light at 0.39mm/595g. The chassis is hosting internal components comprising of a MediaTek SoC and 4GB of RAM.
For the display, the VE246Q isn’t something special aside from the antimicrobial coating as it is just a standard 23.6-inch VA panel running 1080p resolution but it does offer stuff like BlueLightShield and ComfyView in order to allow workers to use the display even under low light conditions.
The ‘Work with Chromebook’ accessories gets a couple of new items that include the KM501 Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard combo, and the B501 Bluetooth Mouse that gets the antimicrobial treatment through the silver-ion solution.
Rounding everything up digital isn’t something digital but a protective jacket made to be breathable, water-resistant, and includes a transparent PET hoodie to help wearers become comfortable while preventing aerosol droplets from coming in contact with the face. With 2 front large pockets and the inside made with silver fabric, Acer’s goal of getting into the apparel business is more about function and features rather than fashion.
