Acer Malaysia has added a couple of new models to the thin and light Swift family and it is some familiar faces Swift 14 and a new boy Swift Go 14.
Let’s start with the Swift 14. From the picture alone, you’d know that it is some premium stuff which is an aerospace-grade aluminum unibody chassis made from CNC machining, resulting in just 1.2kg while being visually striking.
Within the body, it hosts an up to 13th Gen Intel Core i7 H series CPU with Iris Xe Graphics together with up to 16GB DDR5 RAM and 1TB PCIe SSD for lagless daily operation. The laptop is also Intel Evo verified which means it is business ready so just buy and deploy.
Although only at 14-inches, the 2560×1600 IPS display protected by Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass churns nice colors and details to you and coupled with fast connectivities of Thunderbolt 4 and WiFi 6E, this is one of those ultrabooks that you can look forward to.
On the other hand, the Swift Go 14 provides more flexibility and convenience while also being more youngster-like. Equipped with an up to AMD Ryzen 7 7730U CPU + up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM + 512GB PCIe SSD, this is the more affordable option compared to the Swift 14.
The 14-inch FHD IPS display is as standard as ever while a wide range of ports including USB-C, HDMI 2.1, and microSD card slot supports the on-the-go lifestyle of those who need to transfer files frequently between peripherals.
And yes, the battery can go up to 13 hours so you don’t need to bring along the power brick if you wish to.
