To continue the social responsibility of protecting the environment, Acer has showcased a lot of new products for the Vero portfolio that focuses on implementing the 3Rs into production.

Acer Aspire Vero 14

Similar to last year, the Acer Aspire Vero 14-inch and 15-inch welcome their yearly refresh mainly in the form of the computing parts. As they are getting Intel’s latest 12th Gen Core mobile processors with Iris Xe graphics, both of them are still as light and powerful as usual.

I/O ports wise, there’s a combination of Thunderbolt 4, USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, and USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 to support both standard peripherals and high-speed gadgets. Additionally, the webcam is an FHD one so don’t worry about sending blurry video conference footage.

Of course, being a Vero product, both of the Aspire Vero features OceanGlass trackpads created from ocean-bound plastics (OBP) and similar to prior models, the chassis uses 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics while the screen bezel is at 30% with the keycaps going as high as 50%.

The packaging is also comprised of 85% recycled paper, 100% industrial recycled plastic laptop sleeve, and 100% PIR plastic sitting between the display and keys. Yes, that piece of random sheet when you open up a new laptop, basically.

Acer Veriton Vero AIO

Next station, we’ll have the best of both worlds in the form of the Veriton Vero AIO desktop created for work-from-home users that prioritizes space-saving form factors over anything else. Chucking everything and closed off by the 24-inch FHD IPS display, the internals can be configured to go up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i9 CPU, optional NVIDIA GeForce MX550 GPU, 64GB DDR4-3200 RAM, and 2TB PCIe SSDs.

Some of the best wired and wireless connection options are available as well as the USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports let you connect to external storage at a blazing fast speed while the Wi-Fi 6E module keeps a reliable and quick Internet speed delivered to you.

If you’re worried about security, rest assured that there’s an IR scanner integrated into the webcam that enables Windows Hello for secure login and log-outs while the Tobii Aware smart sensor can even blur your screen in case another pair of eyes walks into viewing range. Also, can’t forget the TPM 2.0 module properly storing all the cryptographic keys and whatnot.

Acer Vero CB273

Over at the display department, the CB273 27-inch IPS monitor features an eco-friendly design that uses 85% PCR and 5% OBP for the manufacturing of the entire unit. Rated with color accuracy of Delta E <1, expect rich and precise colors delivered to you without any question. It also has TUV Rheinland Eyesafe certification which essentially means it emits less blue light and the KVM switch allows you to switch between multiple computers while the USB-C port on the back can power devices up to 90W.

Acer Vero B247Y G

The other guy is the 23.8-inch B247Y G which sports a slightly different design and smaller form factor. Feature-wise, it is completely the same as the CB273 except for the inclusion of the KVM switch.

Acer Vero PD2325W

While traditional projectors are known to be a power hog due to the high wattage pulling to project images, the new Vero PD2325W is way more efficient at this job because it uses 50% less power for operation and the LED source can last up to 30,000 hours.

With a higher 2 million to 1 contrast ratio, 2.2K lumens brightness, and WXGA resolution, the PD2325W is capable of producing clear and precise projections aided by the Auto Keystone Correction feature and extended 125% REC. 709 color gamut.

Acer Vero Keyboard Mouse

Lastly, we have the official Vero Mouse and Keyboard combo created with 65% PCR plastic and 30% OBP. Made with long-lasting usage in mind, both peripheral can run up to 18 months off a full battery while the Vero keyboard houses switches that can last up to 5 million clicks.

Thanks to the low profile design both the mouse and keyboard are super silent and usable practically anywhere thanks to the wireless connectivity. Aside from the flat Black color, there’s also the Charcoal Grey + Yellow combo if you’d like some of spice to your boring office setup.
