At COMPUTEX 2024, a Taiwanese storage brand, AGI Storage, showcased its impressive product line.
They unveiled a brand new PCIe 5.0 x4 SSD boasting incredible speeds: a whopping 12,400MBps sequential reads and 12,000MBps sequential writes in their live demo.
For those who still rely on SATA connections, they have you covered with a high-capacity 8TB SATA SSD.
System DRAM kits featuring both DDR4 and DDR5 standards were also on display, highlighting AGI’s established presence in the market.
But the real showstopper was their technological feat: a 2TB microSD card. Packing such a high density of NAND chips into such a small form factor is truly impressive.
AGI also had a booth section dedicated to accessories, where a clever gadget caught our eye: a cube-shaped OTG storage device with charge passthrough so you ever get into a situation where you need to move files at the same time your phone is about to “ya yeet” itself, this can certainly help you with that.
Another interesting product was a magnetic SSD that attaches to the back of your phone and can handle recording 4K60FPS video directly.
Overall, AGI Storage’s booth offered a glimpse into the future of storage solutions. While a 4TB SD card wasn’t on display this year, it certainly leaves us hoping for even bigger things to come from them.
