A couple of weeks back, OPPO Malaysia’s introduction of the new OPPO Reno12 Series delivered the power of its AI Phone to Malaysians for the first time.
But today, yet another new member joins the family, and yep, the ‘F’ variant or the OPPO Reno12 F 5G is finally here to cover the rest of the market with its looks, AI-powered tools, and the highlight part, its speakers.
Let’s explore and find out why you should pick this up.
Simple yet sleek with Cosmo Ring and Halo Light
In contrast to the two models that came before it, the OPPO Reno12 F 5G instead, was given this special Cosmo Ring design inspired by flagship designs.
The point was further emphasized by the Amber Orange and Olive Green colorways that come with textured patterns which adds another layer of style and elegant points to the smartphone.
One might think that the Cosmo Ring is just a simple circle yet the main point comes in the form of the Halo Light which sits in between the small gap between the outer ring and camera lenses.
This RGB-infused ring is poised to make you the center highlight of any party. When it is not doing that, it is a handy little notification ring that can react to calls, messages, new updates, etc., with a set of personalized colors. It further enhances your listening experience by synchronizing the music beats with the lights.
Rave It Like It’s Hot
The OPPO Reno12 F 5G is unlike your conventional smartphone because it is packed with dual stereo speakers supporting surround sound effects for extra depth and clarity.
On top of that are the advanced Dirac sound effects that remedy distortion, noise, and echo to ensure that your music comes out loud, clear, and crisp.
This is just the hardware part that makes the phone fit for parties and vibing because it also comes with a built-in Music Party App. Not just your usual “EQ tuner” and whatnot, it helps you connect multiple devices to the same network via a simple code scanning within the app, and then voila, you now have an array of speakers playing the same thing.
It also creates an interactive and social experience by allowing all connected phones to select and add songs to the playlist for hours of fun. The exclusive Halo Light and 300% Ultra Volume further push the mood to a new high.
The Classic OPPO Advantage – AI Photography
By this point and time, you may already know that OPPO invests very heavily in the photography department for smartphones including camera sensors and lenses as well as various digital processing algorithms.
Now in the era of AI, the OPPO Reno12 F 5G is blessed with the same set of advanced AI tools similar to the Reno12 and Reno12 Pro including AI Eraser 2.0 and Smart Image Matting 2.0 for a breeze and easy photo editing experience.
As for the hardware part, the back side hosts a 50MP main camera alongside an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro camera for a full range of shots across different subjects and categories no matter close or far.
Efficient and Capable Silicon Brain
Designed to not break one’s wallet and high cost-performance ratio, the OPPO Reno12 F 5G is given the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC alongside 8/12GB of RAM and 256/512GB of storage, in addition to OPPO’s RAM Expansion adding another 12GB virtual RAM. Furthermore, the AI LinkBoost feature ensures you’ll always get your cellular signal for calling and Internet surfing to stay connected constantly.
Additional value is delivered in the form of various general AI features for daily use like AI Recording Summary and AI Writer that will definitely help you cut down on time and effort in preparing transcriptions and ideas for articles.
Conclusion
All in all, the OPPO Reno12F 5G comes out as more than just an AI Phone from OPPO. It is also one of the gateways to an enhanced modern social experience that gives users a unique point to stand out from the rest in important moments as well as serving as a reliable digital companion that follows you day in and day out.
