Alliance Bank of Malaysia has announced the completion of Samsung Pay integration into its platform and associated smartphone app to enable even more mobile payment convenience for its Visa credit cardholders.
With this new update, cardholders who use Samsung devices can now Alliance Bank Visa credit cards to Samsung Pay enabling fully secure, contactless payments at millions of merchants in over 100 countries via NFC.
Additionally, the previously online webpage exclusive Dynamic Card Number technology that generates unique, temporary card numbers for single-use and subscription payments is now accessible within the app as well.
With this, cardholders will be able to enjoy a privacy-focused, protected online and offline purchase experience without exposing the original credit card number. Users will be able to stop/remove any virtual cards at any point should they wish to stop using certain services or in the case of data breaches.
To celebrate the launch of this breakthrough partnership, all Alliance Bank cardholders who add their card to the Samsung Pay wallet will be able to enjoy the following promotions:
- RM5 e-voucher at selected merchants such as Zus Coffee (Jan 9 – Feb 28)
- Buy 1 Free 1 ice cream at Inside Scoop (Jan 7 – March 2025)
- A chance to win various Samsung Galaxy devices including the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Watch 7; Entry chance obtained by being the top 15 spenders with Alliance Bank Visa credit card via Samsung Pay
