As days goes by, rumours of the upcoming version of Android grows abundant. SamMobile here got exclusive screenshots of an early build of Android 4.3, which surprisingly runs on the quad-core version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-i9505).![]()
Surprisingly, this means that Samsung’s “developer” variant of the Galaxy S4 will have the latest version of Android as soon as it comes out. It is without a doubt that Google already distributed the source code for Android 4.3 before it is announced, so that manufacturers can have parallel launch dates of the upcoming version of Android.
That being said, SamMobile also leaked out an entire apparent Android 4.3 Jelly Bean ROM from the Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE version, which is also the GT-i9505. We now have an entirely new Camera interface, but with the same concept in mind. Hold your finger there and a “control ring” will show up, and you can just swipe your finger to the icons to select what you want.

That being said, there’s also a new colour scheme to the Phase Beam live wallpaper, as shown on the screenshot above with the orange-maroon hue.
If you think Android doesn’t bother about their font, then you’re wrong. Google actually updated the Roboto font, which was first used since Android 4.0 Ice-Cream Sandwich. The font is now with a curvier and smoother look to it, with only subtle changes to many of the littlest details on each glyphs. As quoted on Android Authority, “Roboto files in the ROM were up to 30% bigger than the versions found in 4.2.2.” Surely, we’re on the brink of something amazing!

The most notable change however is the comma, which is now much more curvier and definitely looks like a font as versatile as Futura, rather than just deadlocked as an OS font.

However, all these goodness are still far beyond our reach as there are still no details of its release date. Worst still, SamMobile said that the leaked Android 4.3 ROM is just an early build of the upcoming version of Android.
Stay tuned for more.
