A video uploaded recently by Doug Gregory that demonstrated how he used all technology available to every consumer controlled the house lights, TV, peripherals and some other things.
As for the everything things this guy used, I’m amazed by how efficient everything is done.
- Hardware
- Controller – 1
- Z-wave modules – 4
- Software
- Tasker
- AutoVoice
- AutoRemote
- AuHomationHD
- Yatse
- XBMC
- Netflix
- YouTube
With all these, he’s able to control lights and its brightness, TV power on and off, channels, which screen to play content on and more. Check out the video and be impressed yourself. Everything is automated by voice alone, yet the things he say is in natural language – some even with multiple commands in one go, yet it runs perfectly fine.
Vision of Android @ Home? Maybe, but needs to be faster.
