When Hearthstone was in beta, it produced much ‘hearth-ache’. That all changed when Blizzard moved Hearthstone to open beta in January 2014.
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is a free-to-play digital collectible card game (CCG) featuring character’s from Blizzard’s popular MMO World of Warcraft. Players start by building a deck of 30 basic cards, and play a 1v1 battle against AI or other players. Players acquire more cards from digital ‘booster’ packs or from crafting specific cards from arcane dust; an in-game resource from destroying ‘unwanted’ and extra cards.
Now on the iPad too!
Previously, Hearthstone was only available on desktops and laptops, but Blizzard has released an iPad app for the game. The best part is that your account is synced on multiple devices, so any cards you’ve collected so far is available to you on the iPad.
