For those who are focusing on the PC market a lot for the past few weeks – we all know that the all new AMD Ryzen is here. The hype train was certainly not disappointed, but there are obviously haters who claims that Ryzen is a failure just because it’s not “optimized for gaming”. Now, AMD proves the haters wrong. Let’s take a look at how AMD shows the haters they’re wrong.
First off, let’s talk about why there is a group of people that says “AMD Ryzen is not for gaming”. It has to do with the gaming benchmark scores that showed how AMD lacks in FPS where Intel shines – that’s pretty much it. There is obviously more to this.
AMD’s Ryzen platform is entirely new, and there will be some issues for sure. Take it as the “early adoption syndrome”. AM4 BIOS and its architecture aren’t particularly optimized yet, and the scores will obviously take a hit. All I can tell you is this – the future of Ryzen is bright, but it’ll take some time to optimize even further. It’s already great now, but it can obviously be better – as shown by Stardock and Oxide Games’s optimization on Ashes of the Singularity.
