Complimenting the launch of the new iPhone 13 smartphones and iPad tablets is arguably the best smartwatch’s 7th generation increment, the Apple Watch Series 7.
Speaking of smartwatch, the first thing to consider is literally the screen size as it dictates how much content the device is capable of pushing to the user and how easy and accessible the entire experience could become so Apple has once again narrowed down the bezel while increasing the panel size and thanks to the reengineered Always-On Retina display it is less reflective and more bright in indoors for up to 70% resulting in better viewing angles. Featuring a front crystal that is stronger and thicker, the overall durability has been improved across the board while maintaining the IP6X dust and WR50 water resistance rating.
From the software perspective, the new Series 7 offers 2 larger font sizes to choose from (I think with the increasing amount of elderly users, this hits the spot right) and a QWERTY keyboard that can be typed either through tapping or swiping. For watchOS 8, we’ve talked about it in the past so you can click here for the overview while we’ll throw in a couple more into the bag.
For starters, the Watch Series 7 will have a new Contour face that takes the dial right to the edge of the display and fluidly animates throughout the day while the Modular Duo face leverages the extra screen area with two large, data-rich center complications.
