The yearly software-focused keynote Worldwide Developers Conference 2022 by Apple finally has an official date.
Revealed just yesterday, the fully online format of the WWDC22 will be commencing June 6 through 10, and as usual, it is free for all developers to attend. Continuing the success of virtual-based showcasing of the past two years, the WWDC22 will have no less than last year’s reveal of the latest and greatest (maybe?) features and innovations injected into the next version of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS. Of course, developers and fellow Apple engineers both new and experienced will get to learn how to bring these interactive experiences into their next software build.
As the Cupertino tech giant’s community continues to grow larger and larger with a current count of more than 30 million devs, Apple realized that giving practical insight and the proper access to their tools and libraries is more important than ever. Therefore, this year’s WWDC will be more content-packed than ever with the addition of extra information sessions, cutting-edge learning labs, digital lounges to engage with attendees, and more localized content to make WWDC22 a truly global event.
Skillful and competitive students will be glad to hear that the Swift Student Challenge will return for 2022 too and the theme for this time will be surrounding a topic of their choice and creating a Swift Playground app – an iPad and Mac exclusive platform for learning the Swift language in a fun and interactive way – with the deadline being April 25.
