Let’s start with Xcode 16. It now has Swift Assists which is basically the assistant feature that you can ask things and most likely, the Predictive Code Completion will kick in and help you fill up all the necessary parts for a specific function.
The entire Xcode environment also has a better dynamic linking architecture for smoother workflow transitions between previews and code execution alongside faster testing, localizing, and privacy policies/license agreements drafting.
For Swift 6, the new compile-time data-race safety has been introduced for safer code and maintainability as well as additional code editors and a new GitHub organization dedicated to Swift projects. New APIs are added for more flexibility and feature expansion too.
