As you might have seen, Apple’s Bendgate is trending all over the world, and that can only mean one thing to everyone – how does every other Android phone holds up?
Unbox Therapy did tests and found out that yes, other phones are susceptible to such bends – but not as extreme as the iPhone 6 Plus’s Bendgate. The Galaxy Note 3 held up. HTC One M8 held up. The new Moto X held up perfectly.
Samsung is already well known to be poking fun at Apple all the time – and this is their perfect opportunity to promote their Galaxy Note Edge too.
[tweet https://twitter.com/SamsungMobile/status/515074944485449728 align=center]We’ve looked at the Note Edge – as picture above, has a curve on the display at the right side of the display. It’s an auxiliary part of the screen to further enhance the multitasking experience on the phone. Did Samsung stop there? Nope.
The first ever phone to ever came to the bending test after the iPhone 6 Plus was the Galaxy Note 3, which has a 5.7-inch screen and is plastic-built. General consensus here is that the Galaxy Note 3 will bend like yoga. The test showed surprising results, with the phone hardly curved at all. Samsung’s reaction to that was blissful.
LG with their G Flex was also stealing the limelight with this tweet.
HTC with their all-aluminium built HTC One M8 was also put to the test, with results similar to the Galaxy Note 3 – hardly bending at all. They also took a jab on the Bendgate.
