Asus has done it again! From various new product design and unique innovation, from Asus Transformer to the Asus PadFone, recently they just unveiled another ambitious 3-in-1 computer. Asus Transformer Book Trio(phew!) will have two of everything. Two processors, two operating system, two memory allotments and even two batteries! It is not a laptop, it is not a desktop, it is not a tablet. It is all of the three at the same time!
The two processors have their own OS to run on. The Intel Atom Z2580 (2.0 GHz) will power the Android(Jelly Bean) part of the device while the powerful Haswell(4th gen) Intel Core i7 4500U CPU will run the latest Windows 8.
The tablet side of the device is located on the upper part while the powerful part is located in the keyboard dock along with a second battery pack and a 1TB storage built-in. The keyboard part can not only dock with the tablet part but also establish a connection with an external display to become a desktop.
Now, you will never have a hard time deciding either to bring the laptop or the tablet like me during my daily student life.
So far, no price has been announced but Asus is planning to launch it during Autumn this year. If you loved the Asus Transformer then I guarantee you will love this one even more. A 3-in-1! Just like your coffee!
