Honestly speaking, if you’re already aiming to get a gaming laptop, then stop. Consider this instead. For just the price of RM3,399, you can get the FX503V-DDM175T. It’s thin and has all of the necessary ports you need for both your study needs and gaming needs. Yes – this is the perfect laptop for those who are entering university too.
With that considered, a Core i5 should be sufficient here. Else, you can event opt for the i7 variant. While you’re at it, maybe add a little more to get the SSD? Whichever the case may be, just make sure you have at least 8GB of RAM.
Also, it costs RM5,599 for a full-fledged gaming laptop that has an Intel Core i7 with NVIDIA GTX 1060. That’s quite impressive, and definitely will be enough for your study needs. Perhaps you want to game on it and do simulations of your projects.
