Last week, we got a chance to go meet up with a familiar friend and it is none other than the ASUS Expertbook B7 Flip, 2022 edition. Although we’ve dealt with multiple models of the renowned family of products tailored toward professional use, we’ll take a look at what makes this year’s offering special, especially this big guy over here.
Looking from the front, the signature Star Black finish is still here in its full glory of being both low key sleek, and stylish. However, if you shine a bit of light onto the surface, tinges of red and green will appear with very tiny shining particles in between to really bring out the theme of the blinky stars.
And you can see the ASUS active stylus magnetically snapped to the side for ease of placement and access. Featuring 4096 pressure sensitivity which is the baseline for a decent stylus alongside MPP 2.0, the digital pen will come in handy for those need to work with tasks that better rely on hand movements rather than a mouse.
Moving to the back, the 360-degree ErgoLift Hinge used by most of the recent Flip devices is what allows the device to be rotated, flipped, and placed at any angle desired thanks to the rigorously tested hinge made durable to endure some of the most strained daily uses.

Similar to the last-gen machine, the unit we have here is using the FHD+ panel in order to fit in the ASUS Private View filter that can keep unwanted eyes and gazes away from the screen by cutting down the amount of light that can be reflected off at certain angles, making the job of snitching confidential info much harder.
With this, workers that often deal with sensitive data can now work safely and with less worry in public spaces as they don’t need to go paranoid just to find a corner seat with no mirrors around.
