Asus Malaysia is growing its ExpertBook business laptop family with three new models: the ExpertBook P3 G1, ExpertBook P5 G1 and ExpertBook PM5 G2, all built around enterprise-grade durability, AI features, and upgradeable hardware aimed at students and working professionals alike.
Across the lineup, the new P series shares a focus on toughness, tested against everyday bumps, drops, and spills, with reinforced I/O ports rated to withstand up to 9kg of physical force. All three models can drive up to three external 4K monitors for extra screen space, and come with ASUS AI ExpertMeet, which automatically captures and organizes key discussion points through AI Meeting Minutes, along with AI Translated Subtitles for real-time multilingual translation, with all meeting data processed and stored locally on the device for privacy.
The ExpertBook P3 G1 sits as the more practical entry point, running an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor with 16GB of DDR5 RAM, built for everyday tasks like office work, online classes, assignments, and virtual meetings rather than chasing peak performance. It’s meant to be a dependable business laptop for people who need something reliable for daily work and study without added complexity.
Stepping up, the ExpertBook P5 G1 serves as the more premium all-rounder, also powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor but paired with 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512GB SSD as standard. It leaves plenty of room to grow, supporting up to 96GB of memory and dual SSD storage up to 6TB, and comes with a 16:10 FHD OLED display running up to 60Hz, all in a chassis starting at 1.29kg. That combination makes it a good fit for users who want something portable now with the option to expand later.
The ExpertBook PM5 G2 is the standout for AI performance, running an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX processor with up to 55 NPU TOPS for significantly more on-device AI capability aimed at demanding workloads. It ships with 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD, expandable to 96GB of RAM and up to 3TB of dual SSD storage, and rounds things out with an OLED display for a higher-end visual experience alongside its AI capabilities.
