ASUS Malaysia has officially revealed the new ExpertBook Ultra laptop for the local market, and this model is the premium ultra-light business machine that mixes portability, AI performance, and high-end display technology into a single package.
The 14-inch 3K Tandem OLED touchscreen is the main point here, as it offers a variable 30Hz to 120Hz refresh rate and supports up to 1400 nits HDR brightness, while the Gorilla Glass Victus with a matte coating is used to reduce reflections without losing the contrast advantages OLED panels are known for.
The laptop is also extremely light for a 14-inch device, starting at just 0.99kg while measuring only 10.9mm thin, thanks to the magnesium-aluminum chassis with a Nano Ceramic coating, alongside MIL-grade durability certification aimed at business users who travel frequently.
Under the hood, the latest Intel ‘Panther Lake’ Core Ultra Series 3 processors with Intel Arc iGPU and AI Boost NPU power the device together with up to 64GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 2TB PCIe 5.0 SSD. According to ASUS, there’s up to 180 TOPS of AI performance combined.
Thermals and multimedia features have been improved as well, with the new ExpertCool Pro cooling system with dual fans and triple air outlets tackling heat, while the audio setup includes six speakers with Dolby Atmos support – inside a business-focused device, mind you.
I/O is pretty good too – you can find 2x Thunderbolt 4, 2x USB-A, HDMI 2.1, and 3.5mm audio jack. For battery capacity, it is rated at a 70Wh battery with USB-C charging support.
