ASUS has finished its IFA 2024 conference with its own set of new products and we are focusing on the new Intel Core Ultra 200V processor laptops.
First, we have a new size option for the Zenbook family – the Zenbook S 14 which claims the slimmest 14-inch laptop in the market.
The iconic Ceraluminum material builds the foundation of the laptop while the 2,715 CNC-machined cooling vents near the keyboard area add even more airflow and heat-removing performance to the machine.
It can be fitted with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 200V processor delivering a maximum of 48 NPU TOPS performance alongside the 3K 120Hz ASUS Lumina OLED display. The FHD AiSense IR camera gives lots of options to customize the video call experience while the 72WHr battery keeps the machine running for multiple days with ease.
For the business folks, here’s a new option for you guys too – the ExpertBook P series led by the top-of-the-line ExpertBook P5, packing an Intel Core Ultra 200V processor alongside lots of AI-enhanced tools for maximum productivity.
There are lower-tier machines like the ExpertBook P1 tailored for SMEs looking for business-ready machines carrying the latest hardware.
Back to the AI tools, it is called the ASUS AI ExpertMeet and it includes AI transcript, AI translation, AI subtitles, assisted meeting summaries, AI camera, AI noise canceling, business watermarks, and more.
One can also find multilayered security solutions to protect the device with the optional SafeGuard Backup tool which securely backs up important data with encrypted protection.
The commercial laptops are finished with sleek, simple yet modern aesthetics made with industrial recycled aluminum alloy and post-consumer recycled steel for that extra ESG goal checkbox.
Lastly, we have the Vivobook S 14 and it is nearly identical to the earlier models aside from the processor inside which is up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 200V with up to 47 NPU TOPS performance and updated support for WiFi 7
Otherwise, things like display, I/O ports, and overall user experience are pretty much the same.
