In case you missed the event on the 12th of November 2016, ASUS had their very own ROG Masters major league gaming competition held at KLCC. They focused on two games this time – Dota 2 and CS:GO.

To be honest, I’m quite bummed by the fact that Malaysian teams got rekt completely before semi-finals on both Dota 2 and CS:GO. I mean, Fnatic, come on. You guys lost right before semi-finals, and yet most of them are at home ground. I was utterly disappointed, to be honest.

Nonetheless, here’s the final scoreboard for both CS:GO and Dota 2.

All I can say is congratulations to both Team Secret and Mongolz for winning the championship! A total of  $200,000 has been awarded to these two teams. You both definitely ruled the game – scoring a perfect 3-0 at a best-of-5  final match against your opponent. The victory were flawless, and it shows the level of profession in their game.

Anyway, there was a time slot where Team Secret had a fan signing time slot for both days of the ROG Masters event – and I brought my custom orange backlit Ducky One TKL (full review here) for signing!

Also, check out ASUS’s official album of photos right here. They look absolutely fantastic, and you can relive the event through these pictures!

Till next time – because as far as I  can tell, this is not the only ROG Masters event. Maybe we’ll see you on the stage as the grand prize winners next time.
