ASUS is looking to stir up the networking market here with a beautiful piece of furniture called the RP-AC68U. It complies with the AC1900 standard, and has a slew of ports!
The RP-AC68U comes with a black colour body with red accents that actually glows. The design itself matches with ASUS’s very own RoG theme, as they’re really fond of red and black colour.
The RP-AC68U comes equipped with a dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi for all the speeds you need, has a single USB 3.0 port for data transfers or even downloads handled by the router itself, so you won’t need to have any computers running just to download something overnight.
It also comes with 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports for all that speed, a WPS button for ease of connectivity, a power jack and the power button itself.
What I can see is a problem for me is the 2.4GHz and 5GHz indicator lights being shown towards the back instead of the front. The USB 3.0 port should also be moved in front for easy access, as I think function should always come before form.
But I digress, the RP-AC68U is available now for RM859, inclusive of GST!
