ASUS Malaysia has launched the new Vivobook 15X OLED which is by far one of the most affordable laptops equipped with an OLED screen to date.
Despite just at 15.6-inches, you actually get a whole lot of pixels here because the resolution of this OLED panel is coming at 2880 x 1620, and to make sure it is looking good and good to look at, its 120Hz refresh rate should turn your everyday tasks into a comfortable experience, at least for the eyes.
But pretty much the special thing about this laptop is about the screen as the rest of the hardware is fitted like a standard portable machine geared towards light and casual users. Equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5000 series mobile processor, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of PCIe SSD, these specs can do a lot of things actually albeit with mixed results due to a lack of discreet GPU.
But the I/O ports are nice though with a mix of USB-A and USB-C plus HDMI and a headphone jack.
But if you’re just someone that, let’s say, doing admin jobs and uses the same laptop for entertainment back at home, then you’ll definitely get hooked up by the incredible OLED screen.

Price and Availability
ASUS Malaysia is pushing 2 models into the market starting today with the only difference being the tier of the Ryzen CPU used. For the Ryzen 5 5600H version, it is priced at RM3,299 while the Ryzen 7 5800H edition is tagged at RM3,799.
