Day by day, more and more companies are focusing towards the gaming-centric industry. Be it accessories, peripherals, or hardware, they’re only going to be more of such products. BIOSTAR isn’t sitting around too – as they debut their brand new BIOSTAR AM2 gaming mouse.
First of all, it’s an optical gaming mouse with the Avago 5050 sensor, and has 2400DPI. It is a 100% symmetrical design, so it’s definitely ambidextrous. On the downside however, that means there’re no side buttons at all. However, the funny thing here is that the BIOSTAR AM2 has pretty weird selling points.
For example, it has an on-the-fly DPI switch with 4 steps, ranging from 800, 1200, 1600, and 2400DPI. That’s great – and it BIOSTAR says it uses the HUANO switches which lasts up to 10 million clicks.
Seems unimpressive? That’s because BIOSTAR isn’t trying to impress anyone. They’re selling the AM2 for only $9.99 USD – which is about RM41.32. The idea itself does surprise me though – does this mean a whole new entry-level of gaming mice are rising?
