The new and updated Xiaomi BlackShark 3S is finally arriving in Malaysia. Featuring more powerful hardware than the original BlackShark 3, I wouldn’t say it is overkilled if a stutter less gameplay can be guaranteed, especially they are one of the competitors trying to push the boundaries of gaming smartphones even further every single year.
Anyways, let’s start off with the updated specs of this monstrous device.
- 6.67-inch AMOLED screen
- 120Hz refresh rate
- 1080p resolution
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset
- LPDDR5 12GB RAM
- Up to UFS3.1 256GB storage
- Triple rear-facing cameras
- Main: 64MP f/1.8 with PDAF
- Ultra-wide angle: 13MP f/2.3
- Depth sensor
- 20MP f/2.2 selfie camera
- 4,729mAh battery
- 65W Fast Charging
- 18W Magnetic Charging
Xiaomi is also introducing the BlackShark Game Triggers that uses OMRON micro switches for the clicky and responsive feedback which is pretty nice especially for shooting game players. Major Android and iOS devices are supported so its not a BlackShark exclusive, that’s pretty cool too.
Finger… socks??
I know, gaming on a touchscreen is always scraping away your skin which feels incredibly painful after an exhaustive session. So Xiaomi made this to protect them I guess. Reportedly, it is anti-sweat and comfortable to wear without disrupting the touchscreen response, I doubt this thing would be super popular though.
Act fast, free Shark Carry case for the first 50 customers
The BlackShark 3S is priced at either RM3199 or RM3499 depending on the storage configuration. But no matter which model you buy, the first 50 customers are going to get a Shark Carry Case, the Fun Cooler, 1-year screen protection, RM100 vouchers, and some mysterious goodies. If you’re not rushing or doesn’t care about the carry case, you can opt-in for the Gamepad 2.0 Left and Holder 3.0 instead.
Meanwhile, the BlackShark Game Triggers is priced at RM89 and all of these will be available starting September 8 exclusively on Shopee.
