Collection - The Voyage is the results of a year of meticulous design and research

You might be asking – what the heck is this “clever watch”? Is it another funky name for a smartwatch?
Answer is a definite no. Pals over at BOLDR Watches (from Malaysia & Singapore) created an entirely new product category that combines the best of two worlds – the dumb watches, and also the smartwatches, or even fitness bands.
Yes, they work for both Android and iOS devices. They’re working on Windows and BlackBerry support!

Each edition of the Voyage is unique and features quick-release premium calf-leather straps

They’re even running a Kickstarter campaign now, which they have already surpassed their goal by nearly double the amount, and still going.

It’s been kept simple – they start off with the physical body of a dumb watch – the shape, the size, and even the materials, including the materials that made its battery life last for years without any issues. Then, take the core functionality of a smartwatch and integrate all of these together.

The BOLDR Voyage - Be BOLDR, Be More

You get the BOLDR Voyage! It’s the first ever watch of such kind, where it’s a traditional-looking watch that does smart things, like pedometer tracking that tells you your goals with the 110% mark, where BOLDR cheekily says that it makes the user gives 110% in life. The BOLDR Voyage can also tell you your notifications through a built-in vibration motor and embedded LEDs, where the notifications can be customized via the app to only show what’s important. If you consider anti-loss as a notification too, then yes, the BOLDR Voyage has this feature.

Go beat your best - the Voyage features fitness tracking via LED indicators, up to 110% of your daily goals

Then there’s the pain subject thing called battery life. BOLDR managed to make some of the most innovative enginering feat ever in modern watches. It uses a basic CR2032 battery – the thin circular batteries that power up the BOLDR Smartmodule for up to 4 months, and then couple it with a separate battery for quartz watch movement that can work for what they claim to be 3 years. There are absolutely no battery charging required.

The caseback provides access to the batter (CR2035) for instant and easy replacement, once every 4-months

With the buttons already on the watch itself, why not make it to work with the paired device? That’s what BOLDR did with one of the Voyage’s button – make it a remote shutter button for your phone’s camera!
Why? Because they can, and you don’t have to carry a separate gadget just to do that.

Quick – you have until October 28th 2015 at 7.19am GMT+8 to pledge for one BOLDR Voyage yourself!
