Lenovo has been on a roll of late. IDC reports that Lenovo has achieved a 16.7% global PC market share in 2Q 2013. This makes them the No.1 PC supplier in the world. That’s really tough to imagine considering Lenovo had to go through the likes of Acer, Toshiba, Sony, HP and Dell to attain this new position. The main concern is of course – security.

“We’re going to be continually good at what we have been traditionally good but you’re going to see a significantly improved approach to design, features and usability in our traditional products,” said Kevin Beck.

This can be seen from the many innovative form factors from Lenovo, and there are no indications of them pulling the breaks on this one. Instead, it feels like a dominant step into a market that has its lines so blurred that it’s possible some of these form factors might emerge to be the next trendsetter amongst consumers and enterprise alike.
