NVIDIA has announced that the GeForce RTX series of graphic cards will be bundled with Batlefield V. There are other announcements as well – like Battlefield V Shot With GeForce contest.
Did you just miss out on the 11.11 sale that just passed? Well, fret not there, techies. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are just around the corner – and NVIDIA is bundling the latest Battlefield V in every purchase of GeForce RTX graphic cards. Of course, that’s how you can show off RTX feature since Battlefield V is the first ever game that supports real-time ray-tracing.
Any purchase of the new GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, GeForce RTX 2080 or GeForce RTX 2070-based graphics card or desktop PC from participating partners will receive a copy of Battlefield V. The bundle runs until 7th January 2019 or while supplies last. Well over Christmas, too. 😉
Battlefield V Shot With GeForce Ansel Contest
NVIDIA is hosting a Shot With GeForce Ansel contest for Battlefield V. Gamers can jump into Battlefield V, head into the single-player War Stories and capture beautiful NVIDIA Ansel in-game photos. Upload a photo to our NVIDIA Ansel Shot With GeForce photo sharing website, and post it to social media with @NVIDIAGeForce and #SHOTWITHGEFORCE included in their post, and they could win a GeForce RTX graphics card! Contest will run until December 16, 2018.
We’ve seen what Ansel RTX can do – and we’re honestly really impressed in what Ansel can do. Not only that it can now become a meme engine, it can take beautiful screenshots since Ansel is not real-time.
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Supports NAS
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is now the first game to use another advanced another GeForce RTX feature, NAS, which stands for NVIDIA Adaptive Shading.
Honestly, it’s not the easiest to explain what NVIDIA’s Adaptive Shading does and how it works. The main benefit here is that you can get a smoother gameplay. Take a look at our demonstration here where we sat down with our partner and roamed around this tech demo.
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus utilizes two new techniques – Content Adaptive shading and Motion Adaptive shading. NVIDIA claims that by just using Turing-based GPUs, you can experience up to 70% faster than their Pascal predecessors.
