Canon has launched their two flagship EOS DSLR product line today. The EOS 5DS and EOS 5DS R. Both of the camera featured a massive 50.3 megapixel with 35mm CMOS sensor together with DIGIC 6 image processor to offer the highest image resolution with the most superb image quality in the market as of today.

EOS 5DS and EOS 5DS R
The highest resolution Canon EOS camera with 50.6 megapixel 35mm full frame CMOS sensor was engineered to give its users an ability like never before. Combined with DIGIC6 image processor, this new EOS DSLR could allow image cropping and trimming into tight frames while maintaining the ability to retain optimum picture quality for large printing.
Optical Low-Pass Filter cancellation allows the image captured to be extremely sharp and detailed by reducing the moire effect. This is extremely crucial for commercial photographers who takes studio photos and for large image printing.
Dual DIGIC 6 processors allows high-speed processing with maximum continuous capturing for 5 images per second at full 50.6 megapixel.
The new EOS is also paired with high-precision 61-point high-density reticular AF which is at the same level as the existing EOS 5D Mark III. Especially when you have a very high megapixel camera, the slightest vibration could ruin your image. However, the mirror mechanics was re-engineered to reduce vibrations to the minimum.
XC10: Canon’s First 4K Camcorder
The XC10 is Canon’s 4K camcorder debut which caters to professional and advanced videographers. The device was aimed to target consumers for wide range of applications such as documentary, news gathering to film making. The biggest advantage of the XC10 is its mobility and compact form factor given that it could shoot stunning professional quality video is 4K resolution.
XC10 was engineered with a 1.0 inch CMOS sensor and comes with a 10x optical zoom lens. This 4K camcorder is equiped with DIGIC DV 5 imaging platform which outputs a proprietary XF-AVC video format.
Intra Frame 4K video compression technology gives the XC10 a blazing maximum 305Mbps bitrate which gives high compression rate without sacrificing on video quality. XC10 is also capable of 12 megapixel still frame images with maximum ISO of 2000. The mechanical shutter was also designed to eliminate rolling shutter skew when capturing fast moving objects.
