You might have not realized what great things Oppo had done in the past with its amazing Find 5 smartphone. This China-based company had been around for quite some time in the audio systems market, and entered the smartphone market to show the world what they have to offer too.
The phone’s hardware itself is filled with innovation, there you now have a rotating camera with double flash. Turn it any way and you’ll get a sleek flush across the entire phone’s body.
The only thing I can think of when I see the rotating camera is the unnecessary presence of a front-facing camera. Heck, you can now take selfies with 13MP instead of the ridiculous conventional 2MP front-facing camera. Be careful though, your girlfriend’s smudged makeup and pimples will definitely pop up in high definition.
Similar to the LG’s new G2, Oppo found something for your index finger to do while you’re using your phone. They added a trackpad behind to let you scroll webpages and everything else with it. The G2 took a similar approach to put the volume rocker and also the power button there, but I think Oppo wins this one. Seriously, thumbs can’t reach across a Galaxy Note 2 completely.
Oppo also included a remote controller which does several things – remotely controlling the camera or finding your phone via alarm on the phone. It looks elegant and seamless that it can be hung even as a decoration at home!

The software itself – we already know it’s going to be epic by just knowing the name itself. CyanogenMod. On their website, they announced their partnership with Cyanogen Inc., to enable Oppo to use their software magic. There is however, no details on what or how the software is going to be varied from the vanilla Android 4.3 taste, but we do know that it’s called Color.
