It’s hasn’t been that long since Dell’s previous announcement which they said they’re bringing in the 27-inch screen with a 5K resolution under a 16:9 aspect ratio – that’s 5120 pixels across and 2880 pixels up!
This is the UP2715K, the 5K monitor. It is currently available for sale NOW for RM6,399. Yowzers. The lowest end iMac 5K costs RM7,999 and has a complete setup inside, though you can reuse the monitor only if the hardware dies. Bummer.
Then the main star comes – the Dell U3415W. The first ever 34-inch curved screen monitor that uses the (personally) much desired 21:9 aspect ratio. Believe me, these monitors are a godsend when it comes to working or referring multiple documents at the same time.
If 16:9 monitors with 5K resolutions aren’t your thing for now, then maybe the U3415W might be perfect for your wallet too – as it only costs RM3,499, and is available for sale now. Seriously, I will get one of this if my laptop can support. They’re just gorgeous and much to be desired for – especially while doing assignments.
