The Spring season of 2022 is just underway and Dell is taking the chance to release a lot of new products but in this post, we are just gonna cover the Latitude laptops which are getting a due hardware refresh across the board.
Starting the list is the best of the bunch – the Latitude 9430 – the world’s smallest 14-inch premium business laptop with a 16:10 screen and rocking an up to 12th Gen Intel vPro Core i7 with Evo Design that guarantees to meet the standards of being super-responsive, powerful in performance, long-lasting battery and the associated industry-class security protection. It also boasts excellent wireless connectivity via the ExpressConnect feature that can combine 2 networks to boost the signal strength which can come in handy if the internal 5G + Wi-Fi 6E combo is not enough for the user in certain circumstances. Supporting all the remaining notable components such as the FHD webcam with privacy shutter is the Dell Optimizer – the central AI software that does all the smart functions like noise filtering, ultra-fast sign-in, smart power management, and more.
It also hosts a new feature that basically give your screen the lights out treatment when another pair of eyes is detected behind you to avoid any sneaky peaky leaking any NDA news that you might be browsing through in the public.
Tuning down all the premium offerings by the Latitude 9430 down a notch then you have the Latitude 7330/7430/7530. They are not too shabby too as they can be configured to get a chassis made of either ultralight magnesium, carbon fiber, or aluminum while having all the hardware and software goodies as the 9000 series with the main difference being the CPU utilizing the less powerful but more battery efficient 12th Gen Intel vPro Core P-Series processors.
If you can forgo all the classy stuff and instead focus on the absolute bang for buck machines either for personal use or large-scale deployment, then look no further than the Latitude 5330/5430/5530 that can be matched or be better than the 7000 series when configured properly. As mentioned, the 5000 series is made for those who crave computing juice rather than looks because it can hosts a maximum of 64GB RAM with the same 12th Gen Intel vPro Core P-Series processors. The feature set and software support like the Dell Optimizer is more or less the same as the 7000 series.
Dell also teased the availability of the upcoming Latitude 3330 which is a new entry-level tier but there’s not much info as of now.
Availability
Contrary to the new UltraSharp monitors, the new Dell Latitude laptops will have their pricing and actual launch date revealed soon and that includes Malaysia as well. We will be updating this post when the info comes around.
