Dell Technologies has recently revealed the latest big update cycle to its Dell AI Data Platform, and it revolves around the streamlining of data ingestion and transformation, as well as a couple of new hardware carrying NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 GPUs.
One of the new major additions is this unstructured data engine, developed in collaboration with open-source search AI leader Elastic, which introduces advanced vector search, semantic retrieval, and hybrid keyword search capabilities.
Leveraging built-in GPU acceleration, the engine promises real-time, secure access to large-scale datasets, working alongside the platform’s federated SQL engine, data transformation tools, and AI-ready storage to deliver an end-to-end enterprise AI solution.
At the hardware level, they are rolling out new PowerEdge R7725 and R770 servers featuring NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs and these air-cooled systems offer better price-to-performance ratios for AI workloads, providing up to six times the token throughput for LLM inference, double the engineering simulation capacity, and four times the concurrent user support compared to the previous generation.
Additionally, the R7725 becomes the first 2U server to integrate NVIDIA’s AI Data Platform reference design, offering enterprises a turnkey, GPU-accelerated infrastructure for high-performance inferencing and semantic search without the need for custom integration.
These enhancements focus on helping enterprises unlock the value of rapidly growing, unstructured data by enabling continuous indexing and vector retrieval for fast, precise semantic search, as well as providing access to the latest hardware for all the demanding AI workloads.
Availability
Both the unstructured data engine and the new PowerEdge servers will be available in Malaysia later this year.
