Edifier Malaysia has expanded its catalog of TWS once again through the introduction of the new GM3, GX07, and Neobuds Pro.
We’ll start things off with the simplest one, the Edifier GM3 that provides the necessary components for gamers to enjoy wireless gaming. Packed with the PixArt and Bluetooth 5.2 chipset, it aims to deliver low latency signals while staying on the budget side. The 10mm composite bio-diaphragm drivers are tuned to make gaming more immersive through boomy bass and high amplitude outputs. In order to stay competitively priced, the battery within is lesser than the rest of the new members at around 4.5 hours off a single charge but it is still slightly resistant to liquid and dust at the ratings of IP55 which is great even on a budget device.
Pushing the gaming earbuds spectrum far enough and you’ll see the GX07 at the end, made for gaming in mind. Not only it uses the LDHC codec for good sound quality and latency for as low as 60ms, the driver has been carefully tuned to take advantage of the 8mm complex diaphragm unit for an immersive gaming experience. Edifier also didn’t skimp on any gamer fashion such as the RGB breathing light found on both the earbud and casing, made to simulate a supercar’s gull-wing door mechanism. It also comes with a basic ANC and ENC to eliminate distractive audio cues coming from the outside with the power consumption rate set at around 6.5 hours of use per full charge.
Finishing off the list is the NeoBuds Pro that carries the certification of Hi-Res Audio that delivers a superior sound through the works of Bluetooth 5.0 and LHDC codec carrying signals of up to 900kbps bitrate. Working the magic are the internals consisting of composite diaphragm dynamic driver for deep bass and Knowles balanced armature handling the mids and highs while the entire signal is then processed by the bi-amping DSP-based crossover for accurate reproduction of your music. Additionally, it also has hybrid ANC baked in with a total of 6 microphones capturing your voice in a crisp and clear fashion and you may take it with you during exercises since it is IP54 rated too. Battery-wise, it is rated for between 5 to 6 hours of use with the case carrying another 18 hours.
