EZVIZ has announced the new BC1 outdoor camera that safeguards your perimeters without doing all the drilling and cable installs. Yes, no wires.
The BC1 stands out among the rest due to its inherent design of using a portable power source that eliminates the need for a power line. Equipped with a 12,900mAh battery, it is rated to run close to 365 days, or a full year, give or take. As a smart outdoor CCTV, it can detect and identify human beings thanks to a dedicated algorithm allowing it to do so while setting off a loud siren and high energy flash to warn the owners in case of potential intruders. Alternatively, users can set certain periods to run the tight monitoring algorithm or even use the camera itself as a door cam thanks to the built-in microphone.
Talking about the build material itself, the magnetic base allows you to stick the BC1 on outdoor metallic surfaces for an easy installation while the entire device is IP66 rated, a must for outdoor electronics if you ask me.
Pricing
The EZVIZ BC1 is offered in 3 kinds of package variety starting from a single camera unit at RM549 while the twin pack will run you RM879 and lastly RM1,229 for a triple camera setup. All of them come with a base station that acts as the central control unit and storage device supporting the microSD format of up to 256GB per card. Users can also subscribe to EZVIZ CloudPlay for unlimited storage and auto backup for a zero-hassle and worry-free experience.
