I know many of you played the suddenly famous, Flappy Bird where you experience frustration more than fun. Yes, a game that frustrates you because you can’t even get one score before training for hours. The inartistic game with a ripoff of Mario scene setting on the background down to the Mario pipes used in Smash Bros. The only original thing in this game is the Flappy Bird; that ugly looking bird that has a thick lips instead of a beak, and obviously for its easy one-button control with just screen tapping.
Enough describing this tasteless game. Breaking news, phones that has Flappy Bird pre-installed now can be sold at a higher price since it has been taken down from both the App Store and Google Play. There are no official report to why it is being taken down but my best guess is because of legal issues. I think it won’t be a problem with Android phones since we can just get the ‘APK’ and install from our computer or just download the ‘APK’ file directly to our Android phone using the mobile browser and install right away without any external computer intervention. iPhones can’t do that. People buy iPhones because they want to be restricted. They want to be controlled by Apple. If Apple says it’s not going to be on your iPhone, you can’t have Flappy Bird on the iPhone anymore, unless you have a jailbroken Apple device.
There are now a few listings on ebay for ‘Flapppy Bird installed’ phones that reached several thousand USD. I’d say yes, the game is now rare; at least for iPhone users. As usual *whistles*
If you’re on Android and you’d like to get the ‘APK’, download it here.
