Garmin Malaysia has just launched its latest Approach Z10, a compact laser rangefinder offering precise pin measurements of up to 350 yards with 6x magnification.
Weighing under 180g, the Approach Z10 is smaller and lighter than most smartphones while delivering advanced performance features, including Garmin’s Range Relay system that transmits distance readings to compatible smartwatches, handheld devices, or the Garmin Golf app.
It provides quick and precise measurements to the pin as well as the front and back of the green, with vibration feedback confirming when the target is locked in. Distances synced to compatible Garmin devices remain dynamic, automatically updating as players move closer to the target without needing to re-range each shot.
The rangefinder also includes PlaysLike distance, which adjusts yardage for elevation changes directly in the viewfinder, along with a Tournament mode that uses an external indicator light to confirm rule-compliant operation during competitions.
For convenience, it features a magnetic mount for easy storage in golf carts, and a Find My Rangefinder function that helps locate the device via the Garmin Golf app if it is misplaced. Rounding out its design is impressive battery life, offering up to one year of use on a single battery.
Pricing and Availability
Malaysians can purchase the new Garmin Approach Z10 starting 19 June 2026, priced at RM1,249.
