Garmin Malaysia has recently announced the arrival of the latest Descent X30, a large-format dive computer designed for readability and sustainability.
Built for serious divers, the Garmin Descent X30 boasts a 2.4-inch display that clearly shows detailed dive data and customizable screens at a glance. Its housing and bezel are crafted from recycled ocean-bound plastics, combining eco-friendly design with durability.
On top of that, its large leakproof metal buttons ensure smooth navigation underwater, even with gloves on, while the flip-screen mode lets divers orient controls at the top or bottom for easier operation with other dive gear. It also features a 10 ATM dive rating, support for multiple dive profiles, and up to 30 hours of battery life.
Furthermore, the Descent X30 equips divers with tools to maximise safety and efficiency underwater. The new NDL Aware depth metrics track how depth changes affect no-decompression limits in real time, while surface GPS ensures accurate site navigation and post-dive reviews via the Garmin Dive app.
A 3-axis compass, depth chart with ascent planning, and vibration or audible alerts further enhance situational awareness. Plus, it supports multi-gas profiles, including trimix, and offers SOS capability when paired with an inReach communicator.
Pricing and Availability
The new Garmin Descent X30 will be arriving in Malaysia starting 24th October at RM3,119 via the Garmin e-store, Shopee, Lazada, AECO e-store, Garmin Brand Stores, and all authorized retailers.
