Garmin Malaysia has released the Garmin Enduro that is fully designed to accommodate the needs of extreme endurance athletes – Longevity and features.
Standing out from other series, the Enduro is marked as the ultra-performance GPS watch tailored towards endurance athletes that perform an extensive period of training that requires a smart companion device to keep track of their activities. The main spotlight can be shined towards the solar charging panel that provides up to 65 days of battery life while not mentioning everlasting usage in a more practical sense for daytime outdoor trainers. Additionally, features can be turned on or off on the fly to extend the use of the watch as well while the nylon strap and lightweight design give it natural ruggedness.
Several training and recovery tools have also been augmented to suit the use of endurance activities. The VO2 Max automatically adjusts parameters based on trail conditions while ClimbPro provides gradient and slope numbers for current and upcoming climbs and descents. Mountain biking specific functions also include MTB ride tracking and Ultrarun logs all resting timers. Lastly, the recovery advisor will recommend optimal rest sessions and periods to make sure trainers get a sufficient amount of chill before beginning the next cycle.
Of course, coming from a fitness brand, you can expect all of Garmin’s usual physical fitness trackers such as heart rate, sleep, energy levels alongside advanced GPS tracking through the Garmin inReach Mini Satellite communicator for emergency use.
As usual, the Garmin Enduro will be available for purchase on their Lazada, Shopee, and AECO digital store for RM3,699.
