Garmin Malaysia announced today the Tacx lineup of indoor cycling trainers and rollers including the latest Neo 2T Smart, Flux 2 Smart, Flux S Smart, Antares, and Galaxia roller trainers will be available in Malaysia to cycling professionals and enthusiasts.
Neo 2T Smart
The Neo 2T Smart is packed with the latest engineering goodness such as the redesigned motor and magnets to boost the overall stillness and reduce noise, within 1% data accuracy measurement, capacitive sensors for better power distribution and cycling performance and ANT+ cycling dynamics for pedal stroke analysis on Garmin Edge bike computers.
Featuring a redesigned rear axle, the NEO 2T Smart is compatible with even more bikes, without the need for adapters. Additionally, it offers you the option to connect to the mains. When not connected, it will generate its own energy and is powered when it’s cycled on.
Not only that, but it can also react instantly to speed or incline changes to create the ultimate indoor training simulation. With dynamic inertia, a rider’s mass inertia is controlled and compensated for weight, speed, and angle of inclination.
Flux 2 Smart and Flux S Smart
The Flux 2 Smart is designed to simulate outdoor rides while being one of the quietest and accurate bike trainers out there. Measuring data accurately within 2.5%, the unique motor design allows for a maximum sprint resistance of 2000 watts and simulates climbs up to a 16% incline.
On the other hand, the Flux S Smart is identical in design while being more affordable for those who train at a lower scale of power and features a heavy flywheel for realistic riding experience. It can measure data accurately within 3%, comes with power sprints up to 1500 watts, and inclines up to 10% gradient.
Galaxia & Antares Roller Trainer
The Antares Roller Trainer is suitable for all bikes with wheel diameters ranging from 26.0 to 29.0 inches while The Galaxia Roller Trainer has a unique swing system that allows for absorption of forwarding and backward accelerations, ensuring that the bicycle does not ride off the rollers. it is also retractable to 80 cm. Both of these help fellow riders to cycling freely to refine coordination and technique in one go.
Tacx Training App
Fancy some virtual race with live opponents and experience a variety of surfaces such as cobblestone and gravel? Then the Tacx Training App will help achieve all these within an app available for PCs, smartphones, and tablets.
The software allows cyclists to stream a large collection of high-quality films and virtually experience their favorite courses. Want to enjoy them without any lag? You can download them ahead instead of streaming them. What’s more, users can create or upload GPS data from an Edge cycling computer, or by linking a Strava account and the app will create a 3D map ride.
While riding the speed, power, cadence, and heart rate will be displayed right on the screen. This data can then be accessed afterward to help users analyze performance and help them train better. While using the desktop or tablet version of the Tacx Training app, you share items such as workouts based on target slope, power, or FTP with friends.
