Taiwan has officially opened submissions for its Go Healthy with Taiwan 2026 global innovation campaign, inviting startups, researchers, institutions, organizations, and innovators from around the world, including Malaysia, to develop scalable health and wellness solutions using Taiwanese technologies and expertise.
The campaign follows its global launch in Taiwan on May 27 and is organized by the International Trade Administration (TITA), Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan, with implementation by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA). This year’s edition carries the theme Designing Healthier Futures Together, highlighting Taiwan’s capabilities in smart healthcare, medical devices, sports and fitness technology, healthy ageing, and wellness.
A key addition to the 2026 campaign is the introduction of the Top 20 Mentorship Program, which provides all finalists with direct guidance from industry experts. The mentorship is designed to help participants refine their business models, validate market opportunities, accelerate commercialization, and establish international partnerships before the final judging.
The expanded support comes after the campaign’s successful inaugural edition, which attracted 638 proposals from 55 countries, significantly exceeding its initial target of 100 submissions. Several winning projects have already progressed into real-world collaborations.
In Ukraine, the winning team deployed Taiwanese medical equipment across healthcare facilities and reinvested its prize money to fund additional equipment purchases and hospital donations. Switzerland-based Perovskia partnered with Everlight Chemical on research published in Nature, with pilot production scheduled for 2026. In the United States, Ideas Lab collaborated with the Taiwan Institute of Sports Science (TISS) to deploy AI-powered motion analysis technology for wider access to professional sports training.
Campaign Details
To join, proposals have to be done in English and submitted through here. Each proposal should describe the solution, its expected impact, and how it integrates Taiwanese products, technologies, services, or business models. Entries will be evaluated according to the campaign’s judging criteria.
Submissions close on August 5 at 11:59 PM, and applications cannot be edited after submission.
The top 3 winning proposals will each receive US$30,000, while the Top 20 finalists will gain access to personalized mentorship. In addition, 6 finalists will be invited to Taiwan on a sponsored visit to meet local enterprises, explore Taiwan’s health innovation ecosystem, and compete in the final round.
As AI, preventive healthcare, and longevity-focused technologies continue driving transformation across industries such as healthcare, insurance, workplace wellness, hospitality, and sports science, the campaign aims to encourage international collaboration while showcasing Taiwan’s strengths in digital health, smart healthcare, and systems integration.
