Google has announced the new Google Health Coach service that pulls together fitness metrics, sleep data, nutrition inputs, cycle tracking, environmental context, and even medical records into a single adaptive layer of guidance.

24/7 AI wellness system Google Health Coach now in Malaysia 1

This is the latest iteration of Fitbit and Pixel Watch software that no longer just sits on your wrist tracking various parameters, but acts like a proactive system that pushes suggestions, adjusts plans, and responds in real time as your context changes.

Users can share goals, routines, equipment access, injuries, and lifestyle constraints, and the system builds a baseline profile from there. From that point on, the Coach continuously adapts, meaning the guidance isn’t locked into static programs. It shifts based on readiness signals, sleep quality, and even external conditions like weather, which starts to blur the line between passive tracking and active decision-making.

Google is also restructuring the app experience around this intelligence layer. The Fitness tab evolves into a weekly planning space where workouts can be generated or customized in natural language, the Sleep tab focuses more on consistency and recovery insights rather than raw duration, and the Health tab becomes a synthesis layer where medical and wellness data can be queried in plain language.

To make things easier, logging can be done through voice, images, or documents, including things like meal photos or scanned notes, which then get interpreted into structured health insights.

Subscription Price

The service will cost US$9.99 (~RM40.67) per month or US$99 (~RM403.03) under the Google Health Premium tier, but it can also be offered as part of the higher-tier Google AI plans.
