A video that was claimed the promotional video for Google Now on iOS got into the hands of Engadget shows each and every feature of Google Now that is available on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean running on iOS.
Being a Google Now user myself, I do like the interface and its simplicity, though launching it on an app seems a little un-shortcut, at least everything else in the app remains the same. I’m doubtful that Apple would ever approve this app, as their Passbook and Siri is the competitor of Google Now and letting their rival to be in their home is just sad.
Tech Crunch also noted that Google’s search app on iOS got a major facelift, resembling the Google Now interface – just without the features. Now with the native Google Now app, it works exactly like the Android version does – blurring the line for those Android-envy iOS users.
