Technology never stopped advancing since the early days oh mankind, and since then technology evolved into many various forms, giving birth to innovations and creations beyond imagination.
I’m pretty sure a lot of us saw Google’s self-driving Toyota and Lexus cars driving around town as shown in videos and pictures, where the car has a big spinning satellite thing that looks more or less like the Google Maps car.
Since the beginning of self-driving cars by Google in the year 2010, Google made significant improvements to the systems and now it became something that many have been dreaming of. Being said that, Chris Urmson of the Robotics Institute made a claim saying that Google’s self-driving car is better.
“We’re spending less time in near-collision states. Our car is driving more smoothly and more safely than our trained professional drivers.”
Surely this is not an easy statement to say, but such statement is being stated so confidently only because Google has proven the self-driving cars to be amazingly safe and reliable, as shown in many videos available online, such as this one.
