GoPro Malaysia has just announced the local availability of two of its new GoPro cameras: the HERO13 Black and the HERO. Let’s check out both of them.
HERO13 Black
Starting off with the HERO13 Black, it offers best-in-class 5.3K video at 60FPS, Emmy Award-winning HyperSmooth stabilization, a 13x Burst Slo-Mo that captures up to 400FPS at HD 720p and 5.3K at 120FPS, as well as a more efficient Enduro battery that boosts runtimes in any weather.
It also comes with a snap-and-go magnetic latch mount, WiFi 6 technology for quicker content transfer, and customizable audio settings for balanced sound or enhanced vocal clarity.
Notably, the Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) HDR video delivers broadcast-standard 10-bit color and Rec. 2100 color space for a wider color gamut, while the GPS and performance stickers help track speed, altitude, and so on.
HERO
On the other hand, the HERO is smaller and lighter when compared to the HERO 13 Black, weighing only 86g. Capable of recording UHD 4K video, HD 1080p, 12MP photos, and slow footage using 2.7k at 60FPS, the camera also has an intuitive touch screen and one-button control that makes it easy to switch modes and capture content.
In addition, HERO features a 16:9 aspect ratio for YouTube-optimized videos, HyperSmooth video stabilization powered by the GoPro Quik app, as well as an Enduro battery that lasts up to 100 minutes of continuous recording at the highest video setting.
Pricing and Availability
Malaysians can now purchase the new HERO13 Black starting from RM1,999, whereas the HERO is available for pre-order at a price of RM999 and will be on-shelf beginning 22nd September 2024.
